The focus of the approximately two-hour event will be the presentation of Alström syndrome. Representatives of the Alström Initiative and patients will give an insight into their work and the confrontation with this rare disease.
The aim of the campaign initiated by Erich Irlstorfer MdB, which is under the patronage of Eva Luise Köhler, is to sensitize society in 2023 in a concerted, low-threshold and large-scale manner to rare diseases. Cities, markets and communities in the districts of Freising, Pfaffenhofen a.d. Ilm and Neuburg-Schrobenhausen are organizing a variety of events to make rare diseases heard and draw attention to the situation of the patients.
